Meet Angela GomeZ

AFR® Residential Sales Manager in Southern California

We never know where life is going to take us, but for Angela Gomez, Residential Sales

Manager, Southern California, she never dreamt that her irst job as a hostess at a

Mexican Restaurant in Tucson, AZ would pave a lifetime career path in the hospitality
industry. Today, she’s passionate about her work in the furnished housing industry

supporting the needs of clients from Los Angeles to San Diego. She’s not all work and

no play though – read on and ind out how she keeps life in balance.

Where were you born and raised? I was born in Boise, Idaho, but I grew up in
Tucson, Arizona, graduating college at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaf.

What is your favorite part of working at AFR®? I love working with clients and

helping them ind solutions to grow their business. I also love inding ways to
grow the relationships that I have with clients by spending personal time with

them outside of the normal daily grind. We all know that clients do business Pictured: Angela with her family.

What do you like to do when you are not working?

What was your most embarrassing moment as a teenager? My father would I love spending time with all 3 of my boys! My husband Zack
drive me to school in his beat up pick-up truck full of trash for the dump.

What is your favorite technology and why? My iPhone!
Tell us something that most people don’t know about you. I lived on the
island of Kauai for two years working for a luxury resort. It was an adventure. It is my lifeline to help me stay connected both personally
and professionally 24/7. No complaints. I like it like that!
I went sky-diving over the North Shore of Oahu, kayaked 11 miles on the Na
Pali coast, went scuba diving in Hanalei Bay, caught and ate fresh lobster and
octopus straight out of the ocean, but the coup de grace was that I met my Do you have a favorite app? Facebook! I’m probably
