AFR Event Furnishings Opened in Orlando With a Bang
Event Furnishings Company Won Rave Reviews from Local Industry Professionals
Orlando, FL. December 18, 2008. Nearly 200 people were in attendance at AFR Event Furnishings grand opening celebration
of its eleventh location—a 15,000-square-foot warehouse and showroom that will focus on the special events and trade
show industries.
Orlando’s “Hidden Gem” was unveiled as guests entered into a winter wonderland. In the holiday spirit of giving, guests
dropped off toys or made a cash donation in return receiving a raffle ticket benefitting Toys for Tots, locally and on a national level.
Based on color and gemstones, AFR’s “Hidden Gem” event showcased a total of six rooms, and featured a different theme in each. The Diamond
entrance had guests enter into a winter wonderland; the Bloodstone room featured an Asian theme; the Opal room showcased a multicolored floral
marketplace theme; the Onyx room showcased a sleek and sexy lounge feel, complete with a performance by the Canadian Idol finalist Jenn Beaupre;
the Quartz room featured a cowboy theme in browns and tans; the Garnet room, which was housed in a clear tent, showcased AFR’s outdoor
furniture collection. Delicious cuisine and desserts from Uno Chicago Grill, Absolute Catering, and Muse Gelato, stunning décor, luminous entertainment
by Bravo Entertainment! And Piano Distributors, brilliant networking, silent auction, raffle, and a fire show display by Bohemian
Fire at the end of the night were all part of the successful program.
