Boston: Cradles to Crayons

“Thank you AFR^® San Francisco for challenging our Boston team to give back to our local community as part of AFR’s 2017 Regional Challenge.

Our team chose Cradles to Crayons, an organization that officially launched in Boston in 2002. The mission of Cradles to Crayons is to provide children from birth through age 12 with the essential items they need to thrive at home, at school, and at play.

Cradles to Crayons offered multiple opportunities and ways to get involved which allowed everyone on the team to participate. Many brought in donations of new children’s clothes, toys, and school supplies. Some of us worked a shift at their warehouse while others donated funds.

Everyone walked away from the week feeling good about our contribution.”
