AFR Furniture Rental is proud to announce the promotion of Leigh Tidwell to Vice President of Event Sales. With 20+ years of industry experience, Leigh is a well-spring of special events knowledge. Her career at AFR began in 2010 as an account executive, and she quickly achieved outstanding success within her division. The Company promoted Leigh to Regional Sales Manager in 2014 and National Sales Manager in 2021.
Leigh has been involved in several professional associations over the years, including Meeting Professionals International (MPI). She is also former president of the Dallas Chapter of International Live Events Association (ILEA) and former president of the National Association for Catering and Events (NACE) Dallas Fort Worth Chapter.
On May 21st, Leigh’s induction into Les Dames d’Escoffier International will take place. Les Dames d’Escoffier is a professional association that inspires women in food, beverage, and hospitality to achieve excellence in leadership and philanthropy. Leigh will also act as an ambassador for NACE Experience 2023 in Dallas at the end of July.
Funny, energetic, and outspoken, Leigh is also deeply passionate about developing sincere relationships with her clients and team. Giving back to her community is an important part of her life. She is the mother of three children—two in college at Texas State and one grown and flown (plus three beloved fur-babies). When she’s not working, you might find her practicing yoga, keeping up with the latest trends, hanging out with her girls, or playing disc golf with her husband.
