Designed for Connection: AFR at Cvent Connect 2026

Cvent CONNECT 2026 brought meeting and event professionals together in Nashville for four days of education, innovation, and connection. As a sponsor, AFR Furniture Rental exhibited on the trade show floor and provided furnishings for activations and experiences throughout the conference.

Our sales, account management, and marketing teams spent the week reconnecting with longtime clients, building new relationships, exploring industry trends, and introducing attendees to some of AFR’s newest collections.

The conference began with a workshop focused on Cvent Event Diagramming and the Innovation Pavilion Happy Hour, where our team connected with planners and partners while experiencing creative activations across the pavilion.

Tuesday’s opening keynote featured the unveiling of Cvent’s new brand identity, which was quickly reflected across the conference’s signage, digital displays, and app. Sessions covering AI, event technology, and emerging trends followed before attendees gathered on Broadway for an evening headlined by country artist Chris Janson.

The trade show floor opened Wednesday, and the AFR booth quickly became a gathering place for hosted buyers, planners, and industry partners. Inviting conversation areas featured the Verve Collection alongside versatile Arlo café and bar tables.

The event also marked the debut of our new Zazu Stool. Designed to complement the popular Zazu Chair, it brings the same clean lines and modern aesthetic to a new seating option. Together, the collections created a welcoming environment designed for conversation.

A live World Cup match added a fun, unexpected element, giving attendees another reason to gather and connect in the booth.

AFR’s presence extended beyond our exhibit. The Winston Collection appeared in the T3 Speakeasy and Clarity activations, while the Lyla Collection was featured in the Cat Café. Additional furnishings throughout the conference demonstrated how thoughtfully selected pieces can support branded experiences, networking spaces, and interactive environments.

Other memorable moments included an inspiring keynote from beauty entrepreneur Bobbi Brown and a celebration at Category 10 featuring GRAMMY-winning artist Carly Pearce.

Cvent CONNECT reinforced the value of bringing people together. We were proud to introduce new products, support memorable experiences, and strengthen relationships across the events industry.
