NACE Experience 2026 brought the catering and events community to New Orleans for three days of education, connection, and creativity. For the AFR Furniture Rental team, the conference offered an opportunity to share ideas, help shape spaces, and mark an exciting industry honor.

One of our proudest moments came during the NACE ONE Awards, when AFR accepted the 2025 NACE Partner of the Year Award. The recognition reflects AFR’s commitment to collaboration and continued support of NACE and its members at both the national and chapter levels. It was also a special acknowledgment of the people across AFR who continue to show up, contribute, and strengthen our partnership with NACE.

Renee Pool, CPCE, Regional Sales Manager for AFR Special Events, also took the stage to present “From Beautiful to Meaningful: Designing Spaces That Tell a Brand Story.” Her session explored how thoughtful furniture and design choices can influence the way guests interact with a space, reinforce a brand story, and leave an impression that lasts beyond the event.

The key takeaway: Beautiful is where we start, but meaningful is where we’re going.

That philosophy was reflected throughout the conference. Working alongside Amanda Price, Owner of Amanda Price Events, and her team, New Orleans native Ashley Scott helped bring the city’s character to life through rich color, texture, and an eclectic mix of furnishings.

In the Wellness Lounge, jewel-toned pieces from AFR’s Jade Collection were paired with warm woods, soft neutrals, and gold accents to create an inviting place to relax, recharge, and connect. AFR furnishings also helped shape the awards ceremony and after-party at The Fillmore, giving each setting its own distinct look and energy.

From industry education and intentional design to an unforgettable honor, NACE Experience 2026 showcased what can happen when creativity and collaboration come together.
